The Longbranch Foundation awarded a $1,500 grant to Community in Schools in March to expand their Camp Seymour summer camp scholarship program. Site Coordinators at Evergreen Elementary, Minter Creek Elementary, Vaughn Elementary, Key Peninsula Middle School and Peninsula High School will soon begin to identify families that have multiple siblings who will benefit from these scholarships. Community in Schools is surrounding students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
